There is a wide variety of Grubs found in Canada (European chafer, May and June beetles) and each can devastate your lawn! They are small, plump, white larvae, which actively feed on grass roots, live below the soil surface and actually chew off the roots ofthe grass. After they destroy the grass roots, the lawn will appear unhealthy or possibly yellow in patches, as if the lawn is drying out. Scrounging animals compound the problem as they tear up lawns in search of grubs. Nature’s Touch Grub Control is designed to address all grubs!
Nature’s Touch Grub Control it is a “beneficial nematode”, with the technical name “Heterhabditis Bacteriophora”. These very aggressive microscopic worms that travel through soil looking for larvae stage pest insects. Nematodes exist normally, but generally not in sufficient volume to control grub larvae.
The beneficial nematode, under appropriate conditions, essentially finds and penetrates the grub larvae and turns it into food. When converting it to a form easily taken up by the nematode, the effected larvae die within a few days.
Beneficial nematodes are safe to use on your lawn and garden. They are not harmful to people, pets or plants and other beneficial organisms, like earthworms, are not affected either. In fact, people and pets can play on your lawn immediately after application.

Nematodes will be in the feeding cycle from day two to day five and are most effective when the soil is moist, so keep it that way for this period. Your first watering, that which moves the nematodes off the grass surface and into the soil, is perhaps your most important watering. Nematodes sitting in hot, dry soil will significantly reduce the application effectiveness or prevent the application for working at all.
Mowing should not take place until the original application has been “watered in”, as noted above. After that, mow away!
No other pest control products should be used on your lawn before 14 days have elapsed from the original application of Nature’s Touch Grub Control. This includes (but is not necessarily limited to) herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and insecticidal soap.
The spread of browning or dead grass has stopped. This indicates a successful treatment of your lawn with Nature’s Touch Grub Control.
